Education Directorate Announces Career Enhancing Professional Certification

'CSI Certified e-Waste Management Associate'

22nd & 23rd September 2012 - (9.30 AM - 5.30 PM)

The new legislation E-waste Management and Handling Rules 2011, effective from in May 2012, makes it mandatory for all users and manufacturers of electric and electronic waste to follow certain guidelines towards disposal of e-waste. Therefore, it is important for every Industry to have knowledge on this legislation and understand the legal requirements.

TInnovation in technology sector has been making products obsolete and substantially increasing the quantity of E-Waste thus soaring the demand for E-waste management professionals globally in both IT and non IT sector.



CSI has tied-up with Global Ewaste Management and Services (GEMS), a government authorized ewaste collection and service provider company to fulfill this demand. The tie-up brings an intense and interactive two days program with group-exercises, culminating in an examination on passing which participants get certified by CSI.

Methodology :
Class room training, case studies & group exercises. The course runs for 2 full days inclusive of an end-of the course objective test for 1 Hr. Those, who clear the examination will get certified. Rest will get participation certificate.
